EZ Air PRO 4 Tire Inflate/Deflate System: instructions
What is in the box
- EZ Air manifold with digital gauge
- Automatic deflate valve
- Lightweight 3/8 in braided hose (red or blue)
- Two two-tire air hoses with Haltec locking air chucks
- Air chuck adapter (gas station air or any portable compressor)
- Manifold hook, to hang the manifold off your hood latch while you work
- Carry case and hose ties
- Reaches up to a 180 in wheelbase
Before you start
Do the steps in this order so all four tires come out even. Check every connection for leaks first. Hang the manifold on the hood latch with the hook so the hoses do not drag.
Air down (deflate)
- Close the valve and fit the gauge on the manifold.
- Connect both two-tire hoses to the manifold, then lock the Haltec chucks on all four valve stems.
- Open the valve. All four tires drop together.
- Let the automatic deflate valve stop it. It comes set to 19 PSI from the factory and stops the air on its own when the tires reach that. Want a different stop pressure? Adjust the valve yourself before you open the manifold valve.
- Read the gauge to confirm, then close the valve.
- Unlock the chucks, then disconnect the hoses from the manifold.
Air up (inflate)
- Close the valve and connect the hoses to the manifold and the tires.
- Connect your air source: a compressor by the quick connect, or gas station air through the air chuck adapter.
- Open the valve and start the air. Stop now and then to read the gauge.
- Turn off the air and close the valve at the pressure you want.
- Disconnect the tires, then the manifold, coil the hoses with the ties and pack the case.
