EZ Air On Board 4 Tire Systems (standard and PRO): use and care
Professional installation is strongly advised. The kits do not ship with install steps; this page covers what is in the box and how to use a finished install.
What is in the box
Standard: manifold bracket, four tire air mount brackets, four tire hoses and fittings, every fitting and hose needed from the manifold to each wheel well. Hose rated for 170 PSI. PRO adds: two electric valves, an OEM style inflate/deflate dual switch (tall or short), and a wiring harness with a connector for your compressor relay.
Installation
Have it installed by a shop that does onboard air. It needs plumbing and air system know-how. To inflate with a button (PRO), your compressor must be mounted onboard and wired into the system through a properly rated relay.
Using it (PRO)
The deflate valve is preset to your stop pressure. The switch opens and closes the inflate and deflate valves.
- Air down: switch to deflate. The preset valve stops the air at its pressure. Switch off.
- Air up: with the compressor running, switch to inflate. Switch off at the pressure you want.
- Check all four tires with a gauge after.
Using it (standard)
Connect your air source at the manifold and air up or down as with the portable systems.
Care
Look over the hoses and fittings at each wheel well after a hard trail day. Fix any leak before the next air-up: one leak means uneven tires.
